A BLACK HOLE IS SUCKING UP MY

                    MY FREE TIME!

Black holes are scientifically areas in space with such a strong gravitational pull that no matter or energy can escape from it. Well there’s something similar happening with us, there’s some things in our lives which do the same to our free time! Our lives are moulded in such a way, that we interpolate them in different time/phases of the day, and with such a systematic way of life we spend much of our time on our activities and thoughts!Well, as for me, there is much I’d like to do when or during free time, but I mostly realize that the minute we free our tension/stressed nerves bounced back and relax and find something more interesting.

Basically the media has a big effect on today’s teenagers, though it surprises me as a high school student there are various activities we could do to improve our mind and but we choose to indulge ourselves in entertainment, for me it’s either an application  mainly Facebook which is very addicting or some other social site . This is the only thing that sucks in all my free time and resting time without me having no realization.

This is my black hole which just sucks up every second of my time. That which indulges the whole of my five senses into its news feed and peoples interesting profiles, pictures, videos, statuses and gossip! I have friends of friends; I know where one is going, what one is doing.Technology to day has grown in various ways; such social sites like Facebook become our black holes. As a high school student, latest gossips will be the best way to pass my time or chat with a friend about it. These social sites become a way of expressing ourselves in quotes or sayings, in which state of mind we are in, we can be creative in writing our ‘status’ or you could fancy a relatable or celebrity quotes. Books and movies have their genres; the same applies to social sites; romantic, fan fiction etc.  Posts seem to have the highest shared and liked. Facebook becomes your little world were you’re not afraid to start a fight, to say your opinions and interests.

Being in touch with long distance friends and still know what they’re doing where they’re going. To me Facebook is another social world on the web, where you can make friends with strangers, make friends with people you never thought you could talk to. In real life the same people you talk to could be completely different.
Facebook is now available in mobile phones, not only Facebook but other applications like Instagram, a special app for pictures, YouTube, where thousands of videos are posted. As socialising keeps growing on the net, so the more time consumed by thousands of people, one of these victims turned out to be me, and many other youngsters.

Exams are close by, I vow to myself to be totally focused on my goal to study so well that I can encounter any tricky questions and of Corse not to login on any of my little worlds. The more I stay away from my black hole the more important it becomes and if I decide to have ‘logged in’ I wouldn’t have to regret it, and I wouldn’t blame myself of doing so.

Consuming our time, our mind, and soon we’ll figure there isn’t time to cry over spilt milk. Our black holes are keeping us from, being exuberant, and a world of opportunities. So now that I’ve said and explained what my black hole is, why it is, how it is, I have found a cure to the black hole. The cure is that there is no cure or solution to prevent my black hole. I’m just going to make my time as elastic as possible to squeeze time for as many social sites and applications.

So here’s my say, all we crave and just get our hands on is for the entertainment and the attention; we want it for our good. Since there is no way to stop our ‘black hole’ from consuming time, we have to balance. We have to be in charge of time, our time.
Endeavour yourself to balance your time. This way you can stretch your time all you want and still in the end be happy. Now that you have spent your black hole time reading this, I suggest you sit back and think if you really have control over your ‘black hole’? And if you don’t how would it affect you, and what are you going to do about it?
